  • What is an EPC?

    An EPC is an Energy Performance Certificate. It evaluates of the energy efficiency of a property. It also provides a useful insight to which actions would improve your EPC Rating, therefore decreasing the amount of money spent on energy for the property.

  • Does the property I'm listing need an EPC?

    All residential buildings require an EPC when marketed for sale or to let. Failure to do so can result in a £200 fine, levied by the Local Authority. 

  • How often will I have to renew an EPC?

    From the date of assessment EPCs last 10 years and can be reused for any purpose within that time frame. 

  • Do I need to wait for my EPC in the mail?

    Our Energy Assessors use software to produce your EPCs and therefore we can make them available for you to download from the GOV.UK website.

  • How soon can Efficient complete an EPC for me?
